SPRING BOOSTER PROGRAMME
The national Spring Booster programme, for Covid Vaccination booster doses, started in March 2022. This is for:
- Anyone aged 75 and above
- Anyone aged 12 and above who are immunocompromised
The vaccinations are not being delivered by your PCN or GP practice, allowing them to focus on already incredibly busy practice services. Good local providers (such as Devon County Council) will be offering walk-in clinics at the usual local venues in Holsworthy and Bude throughout March, April, May and beyond. Dates and venues for these are available through your practice website and they will be being added to:
If you prefer to book into a clinic through 119, or using NBS on-line, you will not be able to do this until Monday 21st. Please do not call your surgery about the booster programme. 119 will advise.
- Those aged 12 and above, who are immunocompromised, must have a gap of 3 months since their last dose.
- Those aged 75 and above must have a gap of 6 months since their last booster/dose.
Outreach Services will be providing booster vaccinations to care homes and to our housebound patients who are 75 and above.
For more information please go to: SPRING BOOSTERS
As local surgeries, we will not be calling or contacting patients individually about their boosters but will be working in other ways to ensure that everyone eligible for a vaccination is aware that they are happening. Please share this information with anyone you think may benefit. Thank you.

NATIONAL BOOKING SERVICE PREFERENCES
Please be aware that members of the public can access this website to opt-out of receiving invitations and reminders to be vaccinated. The opt-out only applies to messages sent out by the national vaccination programme. If individuals wish to opt out of receiving similar communications from their GP, they need to contact the practice directly.
If people subsequently wish to start receiving reminders and other communications from the national team, then they can log back in at any time and change their settings.
